Jack Reardon
Integrative Psychotherapist BSc, MA, MSc, PGDIP (Reg MBACP, UKCP)
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, this means I personally adapt my approach to my clients’ individual needs. I have a compassionate and direct way of working which allows for efficient progress at your own pace. My integrative method works effectively with a wide range of issues, including addiction, anxiety, depression, amongst many others.
My experience within psychology and mental health began in 2012 when I began an undergraduate degree in psychology & counselling. This was then followed by two Master’s degrees, one in Psychotherapy & Counselling, and the other in Jungian Psychology. I then completed an advanced post-graduate qualification in Integrative psychotherapy & counselling. Through this collective training, I have experience with different therapeutic approaches such as Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Existential, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic approaches, However, my core methodologies draw from the teachings of Psychologist Carl Jung, Addiction-specialist Gabor Mate as well as Inter-Family Systems Therapies. These approaches can be applied to an extremely wide range of psychological issues. I have also completed a ten-day silent Vipasanna mindfulness meditation course in 2016. When applicable, I use such mindfulness approaches in my work, to help my clients with personal stresses and find balance throughout their life. My overall integrative approach aims to develop inner psychological resilience whilst allowing for life-long results.
I also have over 12 years’ experience as a tennis professional, tennis coach and mindfulness mental coach to sporting juniors. This experience allowed me to provide support to individuals of all ages whilst also setting and working towards goals. This combined experience has provided an excellent foundation for my present practice as a psychotherapist. My practice also fully complies with the ethical and professional guidelines of the BACP and UKCP.
I have personally felt the life-long mental and physical benefits that psychotherapy has to offer. I hope to offer this process to many others with TRC. I am honoured to have joined the team in early 2021.
