Agnes Ban

As a child and adolescent psychotherapist, I provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where children and young people can explore and make sense of their inner world through words, art materials, and creative play. My approach is integrative and relational, drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, and attachment-based theories. At the heart of my work is the belief that genuine healing happens within relationships, and I therefore place great importance on building a secure, trusting, and authentic therapeutic connection.

I am especially passionate about working with neurodivergent children and young people. My dissertation research focused on the interaction between trauma and attachment difficulties in autistic children, reflecting my deep commitment to understanding and supporting their unique experiences.

Over the past ten years, I have worked with children and young people in a variety of settings, including as an Italian language teacher, childminder, and for the past four years as a practising therapist. My clinical experience spans primary and secondary schools across London, private practice, and the charity sector.

My training includes an MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, completed over six years, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. I am a registered member of both the UKCP and BACP.
