Daisy Ward

Psychotherapist, MA, MBACP, BA

Having done my 4 year psychotherapy and counselling masters, I am registered with BACP and am currently doing my further training to become UKCP accredited psychotherapist.

Life can be tough, it can bring a lot of anxiety, pain and stress into our lives. I offer a warm, non-judgemental, safe, confidential space where we can unpack emotions that are coming up for you. I want therapy to help explore your experiences and they might be impacting you. Through our work, I hope to help you develop a sense of your emotions and feelings, whilst giving you the tools cope in a very demanding outside world. Psychotherapy provides a safe space to explore and be curious about ourselves, to develop an inner knowledge and awareness of who we are and how we see the world and others. It allows us to form more authentic relationships and become more attuned to our needs.

Therapy for me is a collaborative experience, whereby we can explore and gently challenge negative thought patterns, self-beliefs, relational dynamics and reactions.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on several therapeutic approaches tailored to support you. I practice from a predominantly psychodynamic and humanistic stance, incorporating elements of embodiment and a trauma informed lens to my approach.

I have worked in a variety of low-cost charity organisations such as ‘FreshStart’ and ‘Talkline’.
